1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the ICanMed MMI Trainer (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. No affiliation with any university
ICanMed is an independent, privately-operated preparation service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to the University of Auckland, any other university, or any medical admissions body. All references to universities, admissions processes, or interview formats are for educational context only and are based on publicly available information.
3. Practice tool — not a guarantee of results
The Service is a practice and preparation tool. AI-generated feedback, band ratings, percentile estimates, and any scores or assessments provided through the Service are approximate, indicative, and for practice purposes only. They do not represent official scores, do not reflect how any university will assess you, and do not guarantee or endorse any particular outcome in your actual interview or application. Your actual results depend on many factors outside our control.
4. Use of the Service
- You agree to use the Service only for lawful preparation purposes.
- You must not share, copy, redistribute, or resell any questions, feedback, or content from the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service or its underlying systems.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Paid subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed through Stripe. Fees are displayed on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact admin@icanmed.co.nz.
6. Intellectual property
All questions, feedback, design, and content on the Service are owned by ICanMed and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the practice responses you submit.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ICanMed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any reliance on AI-generated feedback or scores. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
