ICanMed NZ is an independent New Zealand company, founded in 2025 and based in Auckland, that provides MMI and Casper practice support for University of Auckland applicants. It works with UoA applicants only, across Medicine, Pharmacy, Optometry and Medical Imaging.

Why was ICanMed NZ started?

ICanMed NZ was founded by a University of Auckland medical student who went through the UoA MMI process himself. He saw how little UoA-specific guidance existed, as most interview preparation in New Zealand is generic or built for overseas admissions systems.

What makes the approach different?

ICanMed NZ works with University of Auckland applicants only. Practice material is built around UoA's selection criteria rather than adapted from Australian or UK admissions systems.

How does ICanMed NZ work with families?
